The summer is here and aren’t we ready? After two years of travel restrictions life has eased, and if you are like me, you are looking forward to a well-deserved holiday!
Taking time off from work is important for our health and well-being. Even if you are not leaving home for a lavish vacation, I hope you are planning to relax, reflect and renew.
To get the most out of your holiday take time to restore yourself on four levels of your being:
The Spiritual level is our inner essence, our soul.
The Spiritual levels provides the foundation for the development of the other levels.
The Mental level is our intellect, our ability to think and reason.
The Emotional level is our ability to experience life deeply to relate to one another and the world on a feeling level.
The Physical level Is of course our physical body.
All four of the levels of our being are equally important. They are closely related to and affected by one another.
Here are my suggestions to getting the best out of your vacation:
- Eating well
- Getting physical activity
- Sleeping well.
While I am on holiday, I take time to quiet my mind, to rest, and to explore if I’m in a new place. I find these practices help me to recharge and rebalance.
