Manual Lymfatic Drainage
The lymphatic system is part of the human immune system. A well- functioning lymphatic system is important for the overall health of the person.
What is manual lymphatic drainage?
Manual lymphatic drainage is a specific massage technique that is aimed at increasing the transport capacity of the lymphatic system. It is a very soft, calm, rhythmic and subtle technique. The rhythm is important to activate the lymphatic flow properly. The calm monotonous rhythm activates the parasympathetic nervous system, which causes MLD to provide very deep relaxation. For various reasons, the drainage activity of the lymphatic system can function less well. This can cause various complaints.
Which complaints can be remedied by manual lymphatic drainage?
Headache,
stress complaints,
