Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a form of therapy in which thin, metal needles are inserted through the skin, which are then activated by careful manipulation.
Acupuncture is part of TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine).
TCM practitioners believe that the human body has more than 500 acupuncture points, connected by pathways or meridians. These meridians create an energy flow of Qi, (pronounced “chee”) throughout the body, which is responsible for overall health. Disruption of the Qi can cause illness. By applying acupuncture to certain points, the flow of Qi is improved, which improves health….

Acupuncture and Ayurveda

Acupuncture is closely related to the marma points of Ayurveda. Acupuncture treatment is used at Innerbalance- Enschede as part of an Ayurvedic treatment.
